Founded in 2011, Genshai Mart has emerged as a distinctive name in the retail and grocery store sector of Ho Chi Minh City. Operating through a network of 10 branches, Genshai has been steadfastly serving the residents of HCMC, delivering a seamless and convenient shopping experience.


Genshai, a name originating from Hindi, means ‘Never treat anyone in a manner that makes them feel small.’ This philosophy forms the cornerstone of Genshai Mart’s brand ethos—warm, friendly, and responsive to the needs and preferences of its target demographic. Embodying its motto "Shop simple, enjoy more," Genshai Mart has strategically placed its stores in HCMC residential areas, optimizing convenience by reducing travel time for its customers.

In a bid to amplify its resonance with the existing customer base and allure new ones in an intensely competitive market, Genshai Mart recognized the need for a transformative approach. They decided on a dramatic rebranding. Collaborating with Door Creative, they sought to craft an identity that was bolder and brighter, helping them distinctly stand out from their competitors.


Adopting the font 'Cooper', a youthful, balanced logo with friendly curves was developed. Moreover, Door Creative conceptualized graphic elements that found their way onto packaging, uniforms, point of sale materials, and store interiors.
